To accelerate the development of Taiwan’s intelligent and sustainable building industry and to consolidate cross-industry momentum in embracing the next generation of building trends, the Taiwan Intelligent Building Association hosted the “Build for NextGen: International Sustainable Intelligent Building and Intelligent Building Materials Expo” exhibitor briefing in early April.
The event commenced with a grand press conference for the cross-association “Intelligent Building Strategic Alliance Memorandum of Understanding,” officially announcing a joint collaboration with the National Association of Architects, R.O.C., the Chinese National Association of Real Estate, the Architecture and Building Research Institute Association of the R.O.C., the Taiwan Security Industry Association, the National Association of Real Estate Development, R.O.C., and the Taiwan Association for Science, Education and Cultural Innovation Development, collectively marking the prelude to the international architectural event set to take place this September.

This collaboration symbolizes a deep integration across the real estate, architectural design, smart security, and intelligent building sectors, demonstrating a strong industry-wide consensus in advancing the vision of “Intelligent × Sustainable × NextGen” development. By leveraging cross-industry resources and professional synergies, the initiative aims to establish a key exchange platform that responds to future living needs, promotes industry transformation, and drives sustainable urban development.
At the press conference, a major incentive was also announced: all members of the aforementioned six associations will be entitled to the same exhibition and exhibitor recruitment benefits as members of the Taiwan Intelligent Building Association. In addition, each association will organize delegation groups to visit and engage in exchanges during the exhibition, further enhancing industry connectivity and business matchmaking opportunities.
Moreover, the Asia-Pacific Intelligent Green Building Alliance (APIGBA) will lead its international members to attend and support the event, further strengthening its global connections and regional influence across the Asia-Pacific. This initiative not only reflects the organizer’s strong commitment to its partners, but also aims to lower participation barriers through tangible incentives, attracting more high-quality enterprises and professional teams to join in building the next-generation intelligent building ecosystem.

The “Build for NextGen: International Sustainable Intelligent Building and Intelligent Building Materials Expo” will be grandly held from September 1 to 4, 2026, at the Taipei World Trade Center. The exhibition will focus on intelligent buildings, sustainable design, low-carbon building materials, digital construction, smart security, and future living solutions. It will also integrate professional forums, business matchmaking, and international exchange activities, creating a global platform that combines forward-looking vision with practical industry value.
The Taiwan Intelligent Building Association stated that it will continue to collaborate with more industry associations and domestic and international partners. Through the “Build for NextGen” expo, the Association aims to connect policy, industry, and market momentum, inject innovation into Taiwan’s building sector, and jointly create a smarter, healthier, and more sustainable future living environment.
